given circumstances
Since the living-dining-cooking area was already predefined, only a limited space was available for the kitchen modules. This wanted to be used in the best possible way. The kitchen should have as much work surface as possible and meet the practical needs of a family with children. This means that even if several pots are in use once in a while, there is still enough space for snipping. Everything else was subordinated to this requirement in the planning. At the same time, however, it was not to be too bulky. In other words, reduction to the essentials.
"The question of what we really need was at the center of our considerations from the very beginning. What does the kitchen have to be able to do, what does it have to contain, so that it suits us? And what can we do without? This attitude runs through our entire life together."
